Weekend Shenanigans

Alright, alright I have been a serious slacker in the blogging department…it happens.  Some weeks (or months) I cannot seem to find the time or creativity to post consistently.  I want to get better with this.  I actually really enjoy writing, and I love recapping the things we do around the French household. It is super fun to read back later and see what we were up to.  I also know I have some family members that like to read and see pictures of little miss Ellie, so I need to get better about posting…I will try!

Valentine’s weekend…I love Valentine’s Day, not because of gifts or things like that…I just really love love!  I think it so great to have a day dedicated to telling everyone that you love how special they are…it doesn’t even have to be about romantical things (I realize that is not a real word, but I like it so I use it) You can send your sister a Valentine…which I totally should have done…or your best friend, or mother-in-law…again, totally should have done all of those things…LOVE  YOU GUYS!

With the husband and I…our favorite, borderline lame, thing to do is have some drinks, have a good meal and snuggle up on the couch and watch movies…so that is pretty much exactly what we did.  We made taco dip, drank some beers/girly drinks, and watched TV.  We do love getting out for a date night here and there, but this particular night is always CRAZY busy out at restaurants so we prefer to avoid that and just stay in with each other, and this sweet little lady.

Daddy got her a special Mickey Valentine…and she loved it, of course!

That was pretty much our super fun weekend…Valentine’s Day…and we celebrated Ellie’s cousin Sloane's 1st birthday…they are a month apart and are so cute together.

We survived the massive white out we had here on Saturday, but the weather for sure made it a much easier choice to stay in the house and never leave unless we had to!!!
