Happy Thoughts…

"I align myself with people who support my growth.  If you meet someone whose soul is not aligned with yours, send them love and move along”

~Dr. Wayne Dyer~

I recently came across a situation that left me feeling a little attacked and hurt.  Had I really let myself dwell on words said or ideas thrown my direction I could have sat in my room all day and cried…but thankfully this little quote popped up on my email and it literally saved the day.  I love the message, I love the words, I love the idea.  There will be people that appear in your life that don’t feel right…something about them won’t sit right with you.  This doesn’t necessarily always mean they are a bad person, or that they even did any one thing to hurt you…but sometimes it is just a feeling.  Trust your instinct, it is ok if your soul doesn’t always align with another person.  Send them love and move along…silently wish them well and accept your differences

This can go the other direction too…there are also people that you meet or that pop up in your life and you just feel an instant connection to them.  It is almost undeniable…call it what you want: soul mates, fast friends…but you know these connections when you they happen.  It doesn’t even have to be someone that stays in your life. I have come across people that I meet, have a brief conversation with and move on…but I leave knowing there was a connection made, I spoke with them on a level that is more sincere and understanding then the average person I would meet.

I don’t even know if any of this is making sense right now so I am going to go ahead and stop writing about it…but I hope you get what I mean, and if not then let me go ahead and leave you with a few pictures from the last week:

We went out to lunch for a coworkers birthday last week…fun times. I am lucky to work with a really great group of people, some of which are shown in this picture.

FATHER’S DAY!!!!  I love my dad and I loved celebrating a day that is all about remembering and reminding him how special he is to me and my family.  Disregard the fact that I look like holy hell in this picture…we had a pretty laid back day obviously!!!  At any rate I hope you had an amazing Father’s Day too and an amazing rest of the week.
