Weekending...

This past weekend seemed pretty jam packed now that I am looking back at pictures and remembering what all we actually did.  It's funny how we seem to either have a million things going on or nothing at all...there never seems to be an in between over here with the French's.
And so as to not keep your suspense level too high (I know you are dying to hear about what we did...said with heavy sarcasm...at least I know my family is wondering!) At any rate...here is the rundown:

~~Friday~~
Ellie is in a little program at the local gymnastics center called "Diaper Daredevils" every Friday. Basically kids run around and play on all the trampolines and mats while the parents run after them and try to make sure they aren't doing anything unsafe. She loves it...and we like it so she can run off some steam.
Meanwhile Joe had a dentist appointment and I had a hair appointment.  It took some planning to get all of us where we needed to be that morning.
I plan on writing an entire post about my hair this Wednesday...so watch for that, but for now here is fun selfie.

~~Saturday~~
It was a really nice day on Saturday here in Ohio but not quite warm enough to spend a ton of time outside since Miss Ellie is just finally getting over a cold. We wanted to do something fun so we decided to head to COSI in Columbus. Although it is a little pricey in my opinion, they have an amazing area for kiddos 7 and under.  Ellie LOVES it and we were so preoccupied that I did not take a single picture while we were there.  After COSI we went and had lunch at a famous diner called Tommy's Diner just west of downtown Columbus.  It was so cute and the food was delicious. I had never been before but apparently it is very well known.

And as it always goes, if we are looking she is not...if she is looking, we are not. I was just thankful my mother-in-law thought to even snap a picture or else I would have had nothing to show of the day!!
~~Sunday~~
We usually try and meal plan on Sundays and do our grocery shopping...so we accomplished that and then the rest of the day was super chill.  We played with Ellie outside for awhile. That kid loves being outside. She loves the dirt and rocks and would stay outside all day if we let her. (unfortunately it was just a tad too chilly to let her stay out too long) As you can see, for some reason she thinks dragging her old Bumpo seat out and playing with it is hilarious....whatever works I guess!

That was pretty much our weekend in a nutshell. Hope all of you had an amazing weekend too and an even better week to come...which you should since you already survived Monday, am I right!?!?!
